Honestly, the property exceeded all of my expectation and it was an excellent value for money when staying in Tokyo central area. Area-wise, it is just 2min away from the senso ji temple, which makes it extremely simple visiting it early in the morning or late at night, when it's the most pleasant time with barely any folks around. On top of that, it's got lots of famous food place, Uniqlo, Gu, Donki, so shopping was super easy. Not only that, there is a direct metro to Akihabara so this place was perfect when visiting these areas plus Ueno. The only problem is that you don't have a direct access to Yamanote Line, which is really the only unfortunate thing. I stayed in two areas in Tokyo and found this to be a LOT nicer, while the other had better connections when exploring Tokyo. So I recommend to stay here at the end of your trip to relax, buy souvenirs and visit the areas around. I even went cycling with Luup twice during the night and it was very pleasant, nobody around and the small-cute streets are very lovely to cycle through! The facilities surprised me the most. Starting with the whole hotel, which has tatami flooring all throughout the place, meaning you can walk with slippers or socks. Then the room was just perfect size (I was alone and rented the smallest option, which was really well sized) and really cosy. There is always refreshments like green tea, coffee, then there is a small portion of ramen after 9.30pm every evening, ice-cream after the onsen, suggestions for places to eat on the TV, free washing machine.... And the cream on top is very clean onsen, sauna, hot and cold baths, truly a unique experience that helped to relax after a long trip, I would spend maybe 1h+ every day in the onsen :D Once I get back to Tokyo again, I am going to stay here at the end of the trip to just have a very relaxing time :)

Fantastic location. As my first time and first stay in Tokyo, I was very happy I had chosen Onyado Nono in Asakusa. The location was an easy walk from the station, passing the Sensoji-temple. My plane arrived in the evening, but despite it being dark out the area felt comfortable and safe (well-lit) to walk along as a solo female and I enjoyed the local area a lot. The Hotel felt very peaceful upon arriving and just as the review that led me to stay in the first place, I would like to reiterate that it has a very homely feeling when you walk into the door, take off and store your shoes (in small lockers) and walk to reception. The japanese style accommodation was simple, clean and very cosy and the staff was extremely helpful. Based on the location and atmosphere within the hotel, I will be staying again and hopefully get to try out the spa next time too.

Beautiful hotel located a minute away from the temple grounds. Has a relaxing ryokan feel in the middle of busy Tokyo. Room was small by North American standards, but clean and well maintained. Bed and pillow are firm, but I personally prefer it that way, so I was even more comfortable than at my own home. Toiletries such as toothpaste, razor and toothbrush were included. Pyjamas were also available. There was free delicious soba noodles every night, along with tea, coffee, and ice cream. Yakult was free in the morning. The mineral bath was nice and hot, and made your skin super soft. It was open long hours, from 5 am to 1 am. Washers are free to use, and dryers cost 100 yen for 20 minutes. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and well worth the money. It's too bad I had to move to the next hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent location, pretty much down the street from the famous Senso-ji temple. The hotel is surrounded by unique shops and eateries. The hotel itself was wonderful. The staff was excellent. Rooms are small as is common in Japan but clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet that we paid for one morning and though small, had a good selection of Japanese and western breakfast options. They also offer free ramen in the late evenings, especially comforting on the cold nights. The best thing, though, was the onsen, the public bath. That is one of the reasons we chose this Dormy brand hotel.

Mari

The room was roomy for a Tokyo hotel room and well equipped. It was nice to walk barefoot/with socks in the hotel. Great breakfast and onsen, good wifi. Lication quiet while in the middle of everything. All in all, would come again.
